Social media influencer and businesswoman Queen Hera is spreading awareness regarding her child’s photo being used and sold in malicious sites.
In a video posted on her TikTok account, she was seen crying and was evidently disappointed about the situation.
The influencer stated that she avoids posting pictures and videos of her child Diamond because she does not want to take chances that others might take advantage of her content.
She reminded everyone to be careful about posting their children online, saying “Mommies, please stop posting kahit picture or video ng anak ko o anak niyo [Mommies, please stop posting even pictures or videos of my child or your child].”
Social media users took to the comments to share their thoughts about the alarming situation.
One user wrote, “Omgg!! mostly rin sa blue app mga nanghihingi ng picture like ganto ” comment kayo picture ng baby niyo yung pinaka cute bigyan ko kayo gcash” GRABE!! Pleaseee sana maging aware yung iba nakakatakot!! [Omgg!! mostly on the blue app those who ask for a picture like this “comment your baby’s picture is the cutest I’ll give you gcash” TOO MUCH!! Please be aware, this is scary!!]”
Another user wrote, “Ngayon naiintindihan niyo na ang mga artistang ayaw ipakita ang kanilang baby habang maliit pa [Now you understand why celebrities don’t want to show their baby while they are still little].”
A third user wrote, “hala..this is the reason bakit ayaw ng husband ko na nag popost ng pictures ng mga toddler ko.. gawa ng mga ganyang website.. sa panahon Ngayon grabe na ang technology..old school pa din kmi print ng pictures then lagay sa frame and photo albums.. [Oh no.. this is the reason why my husband doesn’t want to post pictures of my toddlers.. made by such websites.. nowadays technology is too much.. we’re still old school printing the pictures and then placing it on a frame and photo albums].”
Queen Hera vowed to look for those who are responsible for this, and repeated her plea to stop posting photos or videos of their kids online.
